This term is used so often yet so frequently abused in the industry that there is an entire sub-industry on publishing books on the subject.
MVP (Minimum Viable Product) does have a few permutations, but in it’s most pure definition, it’s about the minimum required in order to sell to someone - not nescessarilly the entire set of prospects you believe is your target market, and when I’m presenting is also a way of showing enough (the MVP or even an MVP prototype form) to prove it’s real, while being able to build on and validate the rest of the story with prospects or investors.
If you build the wrong thing, even if you call it an MVP - you’ll probably be less successful than you might otherwise be.
I’ve done numerous MVPs at both the demo and the initial sales levels leading to hundreds of millions in revenue.
Let us review or help define the right MVP for your ideas or business.
Let’s discuss how we can help.
